tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-119318102011-07-14T17:26:47.747-04:0045 Wyndham is a chronicle: life in the house that is fight club.shogunhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/02494813081217847000noreply@blogger.comBlogger91100tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-11931810.post-1113419735325390082005-04-13T15:03:00.000-04:002005-04-13T15:15:35.326-04:00So last night was shaping up to be pretty uneventful, lying on the couch bathed in the glow of either playstation or dreamcast.<br /><br />I was at the mall returning some stuff and I turn on to our street only to have a cop come pull in front of me and tell me that I can't go through "there's been an accident.." he tells me.<br /><br />And sure enough the angle of the evening sun and the ability of a mountain bike to now reach speeds in excess of warp, had collided quite literally in front of our neighbours house.<br /><br />A car was making a left turn at the corner of our street, and the driver was blinded by the glare of the sun, now I know I've had this happen and it sucks because you can't judge distance or make out anything in front of you for a few seconds. Well poor guy out of the glare a girl comes rocketing down the hill at the top of our street and slams into the side of the car.
